Abstract

The T-GuIDE Training Manual is targeted towards tourist guides who are offered an opportunity for developing new work competences and job profiles related to guiding people with intellectual disabilities and/ or learning difficulties. The manual was compiled after conducting stakeholder surveys, consulting and interviewing experts and running focus groups in several European countries. It provides practical guidelines on how to prepare for and how to deliver guided tours for clients with intellectual disabilities and/or learning difficulties. It contains guidelines for the necessary methodology, training methods and modules.
